but I snagged this off the Ottawa Citizen Website while looking at & for Ottawa's snow fall records.
At 273.9 centimetres, this winter is currently 12th on the snowfall chart.
that was from Tuesday's paper...and its Friday and its snowing again, and on reviewing The Weather Network, they haven't even bothered listing how much snow we're getting today, and that fact that it's stating 'Light Snow' makes me want to punch them in the face...it is not lightly snowing. Its full on snowing. If this was rain it would just fall short of torrential (trying to convert snow volume to rain volume with 6 hours of sleep....HAH!)
At least its not brutally cold anymore. That was a fun couple of days. If you didn't blink frequently you're eyes began to freeze. Don't even get me started on noses and cold-sensitive teeth...-groans- I'm going back to bed.
